Butter Baked Pork Chops

Makes 4 Servings

1 Serving: 162 Calories, 2g Carbs, 15g Fats, 24g Protein

 4 - 4 oz. boneless pork chops

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp dried chives

1 tsp dried parsley

½ tsp dried sage

2 tsp olive oil

4 Tbsp salted butter, cut into 4 pieces

½ cup  chicken stock/broth/bone broth

Directions

1.     Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly coat a 13” x 9” baking pan with cooking spray/oil/butter.

2.     Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper and place in the prepared pan. Sprinkle evenly with garlic powder, chives, parsley and sage. Drizzle with olive oil. Place a piece of butter on top of each pork chop. Pour the chicken stock/broth into the bottom of the pan.

3.     Cover pan tightly with foil and bake for one hour. Uncover pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes more. Serve.

 

*Can also be cooked in the crockpot on low for 8 hours**
