Hearty Beef Stew

Dinner tonight was Keto4Karboholics' Beef Stew! It was delicious and perfect for a fall night! Let me say I usually hate cabbage, but I have been trying to use it in recipes because its versatile and takes on the flavor of what its cooked in(if done right). And this is so tasty! 

Keto4Karboholics Beef Stew
16 ½ cup servings
1 Serving 122 calories,3g carbs, 4g fat, 16g protein

3 cups of cabbage chopped
2lb Beef round eye roast
2 tsp onion soup mix
1 Large green Bell Pepper
1 28oz. can of diced tomatoe
1 beef bullion
¾ cups of chicken broth
½ cup of water
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp parsley
1 tsp thyme
Salt and pepper to your liking
1/3 cup red wine (optional but delicious)

Place the round eye roast in the crockpot. Sprinle the onion soup mix, garlic powder, parsley, and thyme over the roast. Add the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, beef bullion, wine ( if you are adding it), and water to the crockpot. Cook on high for 6 hours. Shred the meat and return to the crockpot. Chop the green pepper and cabbage and add it to the crockpot. Cook an additional hour. Enjoy!!!
