Keto4Karboholics came about after a huge lifestyle change. My husband and I were at the heaviest we have ever been in our lives. We had always been slender and athletic, but somewhere between college and having two kids, our bodies changed... and not for the better. In the summer of 2017, my husband, our two kids, and I went on a vacation to the UK for a month. It was our dream! But, I found myself hiding from pictures or contorting my body to find "the good angle". I didn't like the pictures that I was in and hated putting on clothes that weren't made with stretchy flow fabrics. I didn't want to be the woman that only had pictures of her with some strange animal filter on her that made her look 15 lbs slimmer! So, my husband and I came home from vacation and jumped right into the Ketogenic diet. We had both tried the diet before and knew the principles and science around the diet. But, this time we were both committed to a lifestyle change.
